"The design is more than aesthetics; it's a thoughtful arrangement that facilitates functional flow"
This retail project 'Skin & Threads' draws inspiration from the organic essence of natural textures and the intertwining nature of threads. Earthy tones and sumptuous textures create a warm and inviting atmosphere, punctuated by deep neutral accents that evoke a sense of elegance.
In this space, a symphony of materials unfolds. Bronze, felt, natural stone, and innovative porcelain converge to form a harmonious blend of textures that engage the senses. The design is more than aesthetics; it's a thoughtful arrangement that facilitates functional flow. Within the narrow expanse, clothing displays are strategically placed to guide visitors through the space, creating an intuitive shopping journey.
At the heart of the design lies a captivating feature – broken counters that mirror the segmented structure of vertebrae. These counters, dispersed in varying sizes towards the back where change rooms reside, serve as a distinctive focal point. They embody the brand's evolution and ambition, symbolizing a departure from the ordinary towards a new realm of luxury in the Australian clothing landscape.
This project isn't just about revamping a space; it's about redefining an entire brand identity. By pushing the boundaries of conventional luxury, our design is a bold statement of innovation and creativity.

INSPIRATIONAL IMAGERY
Our inspiration stage brings together clothing visuals, broken vertebral counters, hints of pink from nearby designs, a faceted porcelain counter, and an aerial view of people walking with leg "V" shapes like threads.
From a bird's-eye view, the space unfolds with vitality and dynamism. The aerial perspective captures the essence of the design – people moving, their legs forming the delicate "V" shape of a thread. This captivating imagery echoes the essence of the project – threads of connection, movement, and transformation, as visitors become part of a narrative that seamlessly merges fashion, nature, and innovation. These elements infuse the project with tactile textures, organic connections, and innovative design.
The concept was then adapted to the Armadale store...
